LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY TRUST FORTRESS
Lord God, You are my trust Fortress to Whom I continually resort
Thank You for taking my life along Your hope-fort
Teach me to praise You with Your majestic consort---
Today and forever, I stay in Your counsels’ comfort.
Lord God, You are my trust Fortress to Whom I run against persecution
Thank You for taking my fears as You confound my adversaries’ affliction
Teach me to seek You with humility and submission---
Today and forever, I testify about Your compassion.
Lord God, You are my trust Fortress to Whom I flee for truth’s greatness
Thank You for taking my soul toward Your triumphant righteousness
Teach me to settle in Your peace midst noisy oppressive worldliness---
Today and forever, I flourish in Your enduring bountifulness.
Lord God, You are my trust Fortress to Whom I seek for my deliverance
Thank You for taking my heart away from deceit’s appearance
Teach me to pray along Your wondrous forbearance---
Today and forever, I claim Your blessings’ assurance.
Lord God, You are my trust Fortress to Whom I cling from transgressing
Thank You for taking my feet to soar above foolish cursing
Teach me to rely to You for strength’s raising---
Today and forever, I nestle inside Your care of merciful encompassing.
Lord God, You are my trust Fortress to Whom I turn for total contentment
Thank You for taking my service toward satisfaction-fulfillment
Teach me to speak wisdom from Your Word’s testament---
Today and forever, I prosper in Your ministry along my involvement.
Lord God, You are my trust Fortress to Whom I cleave for victory
Thank You for taking my faith to increase in Your sanctuary
Teach me to follow You as You guide me with Your counsel’s glory---
Today and forever, I draw near You, declaring Your story.
