Key Verse – Luke 20:8 And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY
Lord God, You are my sovereign Authority
for my fruitful spirituality
Thank You for Your truthfulness of divine majesty
So that I can speak well according to Your Word’s immutability
While testifying about Your granted assured salvation’s certainty.
Lord God, You are my sovereign Authority for my productive discipleship
Thank You for Your inheritance You’ve promised within Your fellowship
So that I can labour in my vineyard as proof of my stewardship
While working through Your power, submitting to Your leadership.
Lord God, You are my sovereign Authority
for my effective teaching
Thank You for Your wisdom instilling in me Biblical precepts through preaching
So that I can learn in mentoring to others with Your principles, so enriching
While imparting Your statutes for life-building midst out-reaching.
Lord God, You are my sovereign Authority
for my accountable worthiness
Thank You for Your guidance directing me toward worshipful faithfulness
So that I can abide in Your standards against alluring worldliness
While walking along Your paths of holiness.
Lord God, You are my sovereign Authority
for my everlasting victory
Thank You for Your grace drawing me near Your glory
So that I can combat spiritual poverty and moral penury
While sharing with Your compassion triumphant Gospel story.
Lord God, You are my sovereign Authority
for my fulfilled Scriptural assignment
Thank You for Your blessings toward my ministerial enablement
So that I can do my best to overcome frustrations’ detriment
While exalting Your name in my faith-propelled accomplishment.
Lord God, You are my sovereign Authority
for my helping hand
Thank You for Your strength upholding my servanthood stand
So that I can satisfy sacrificial demand as response to Your command
While abiding in Your design which You perfectly planned.
