LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY ROSE OF SHARON
Lord God, You are my Rose of Sharon,
always beautifying my life with Your grace
Thank You for drawing me near You by Your rejoicing embrace---
I look upon Your mercy-rays
While resting in Your shepherding ways.
Lord God, You are my Rose of Sharon,
always satisfying my days with Your jewels of spirituality
Thank You for beholding me by Your promise of certainty---
I trust Your pleasant assurance-purity
While leaning on Your formidable security.
Lord God, You are my Rose of Sharon,
always brightening my life with Your faithfulness
Thank You for bringing me to Your banqueting fullness---
I confess to You my sinfulness for Your pardon’s completeness
While coming to Your presence of joyfulness.
Lord God, You are my Rose of Sharon,
always settling for my eternal destination with Your redemption
Thank You for letting me enjoy Your everlasting gift’s provision---
I rise toward Your calling for my stewardship-dedication
While obeying You with my earnest devotion.
Lord God, You are my Rose of Sharon,
always benefitting my soul with Your care
Thank You for separating me from worldliness-dare---
I turn to Your revival for my service-welfare
While triumphing in Your approval glare.
Lord God, You are my Rose of Sharon,
always sanctifying my heart with Your divine washing
Thank You for propping me up by Your mighty pushing---
I feed on Your bounty so refreshing
While praying fervently along Your Scriptural furnishing.
Lord God, You are my Rose of Sharon,
always blessing my discipleship with Your engagement
Thank You for inviting me to Your ministry-involvement---
I flee to Your sealing protection’s establishment
While walking along paths of good works’ fulfillment.
