LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY ROCK
Lord God, You are my Rock I can esteem greatly for my salvation
Thank You for assuring me Your assurance of eternal redemption---
Keep securing my faith in Your Scriptures’ fortification
As You set me upon Your unshakeable heavenly foundation.
Lord God, You are my Rock I can rely for my direction
Thank You for counselling me by Your grace, mercy and compassion---
Keep granting my heart Your forgiveness for confessed transgression
As You cleanse me with Your purification and sanctification.
Lord God, You are my Rock I can acknowledge for my covenant-observation
Thank You for teaching me Your precept’s application---
Keep blessing my practice of personal biblical separation
As You call me toward glorious righteousness jubilation.
Lord God, You are my Rock I can lean on for my transformation
Thank You for upholding me by Your Word’s perfection---
Keep establishing my mind in Your wisdom’s instruction
As You lead me toward effective ministerial function.
Lord God, You are my Rock I can trust for my contentment-satisfaction
Thank You for clasping me within Your guarding devotion---
Keep nourishing my commitment in Your fellowship’s protection
As You shield me by Your comfort and consolation.
Lord God, You are my Rock I can cling to for my servanthood expedition
Thank You for guiding me to reach Your planned destination---
Keep molding my personality to be Your steward with dedication
As You usher me from the valley of slothfulness’ destruction.
Lord God, You are my Rock I can hide for my holiness against temptation
Thank You for instilling in me Your truth for prudent discretion---
Keep enlightening my decisions by Your illumination
As You show me Your approval of wondrous revelation.
