Lord God, You Are My Protective Fortress

July 9 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 17-21 Key Verse – Isaiah 17:3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY PROTECTIVE FORTRESS Lord God, You are my protective Fortress within Your kingdom Thank You for making me fruitful by Your wisdom So that I can plant along Your salvation freedom As You rebuke me against spiritual boredom. Lord God, You are my protective Fortress within Your rivers of blessing Thank You for lifting me up to seek Your cleansing So that I can come to You for worshipful praising As You cheer me toward constant rejoicing. Lord God, You are my protective Fortress within Your presence Thank You for ruling over me by Your truth’s essence So that I can stand upon Scriptural defense As You hedge me around Your doctrines’ fence. Lord God, You are my protective Fortress within Your work’s wonders Thank You for shaking me by Your faith-strengthening thunders So that I can come to Your altar-pillar borders As You perform in me Your inheritance-orders. Lord God, You are my protective Fortress within Your victorious fight Thank You for guiding me to walk in Your light So that I can follow Your leadership so right As You help me by Your deliverance wherein I delight. Lord God, You are my protective Fortress within Your vision Thank You for upholding me by Your compassion So that I can participate in Your great commission As You supply me with Your provision. Lord God, You are my protective Fortress within Your ground for service Thank You for declaring unto me Your faithfulness-notice So that I can lodge in Your ministry of servanthood practice As You secure me to grow and mature as You did promise.
