LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY PROPER GIFT BESTOWER
Lord God, You are my proper gift Bestower with Your mercy’s benevolence
Thank You for empowering me by Your divine excellence…
So I can give myself to prayer-prevalence
Through Your permission midst sublime silence.
Lord God, You are my proper gift Bestower with Your provisions’ blessing
Thank You for showing me Your goodness always increasing…
So I can remain in Your will, truly well-pleasing
Through Your sanctification and cleansing.
Lord God, You are my proper gift Bestower with Your peace-contentment
Thank You for leading me to walk along Your guidance-establishment…
So I can abide in Your calling’s testament
Through Your freedom for my sin-pardon’s settlement.
Lord God, You are my proper gift Bestower with Your blood’s price
Thank You for loosing me from distress and troubles’ cries…
So I can rejoice in Your comfort where I can arise
Through Your care that revives me from apathy that spiritually dries.
Lord God, You are my proper gift Bestower with Your heavenly profit
Thank You for requiring me to behave along Your wit…
So I can stand on purity’s ground against filthiness’ pit
Through Your liberty of immaculate status where I’m fit.
Lord God, You are my proper gift Bestower with Your offerings’ charity
Thank You for edifying me to love You by Your kindness-certainty…
So I can sacrifice according to Your standards’ authority
Through Your commendation I accept midst heart of humility.
Lord God, You are my proper gift Bestower with Your knowledge-emboldening
Thank You for strengthening me against ignorance-caused weakening…
So I can Yield to You for my character-straightening
Through Your correction toward my faith-refining.
