Lord God, You Are My Petition Granter

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY PETITION GRANTER
Lord God, You are my petition Granter,
answering me when I pray
Thank You that You accept my sacrifice offered according to Your way
As You bring me to Your faith-brightening ray
For me to abide in Your Word everyday.
Lord God, You are my petition Granter,
anointing me to rejoice in Your salvation
Thank You that You lead my soul toward biblical conversion
As You have mercy on me, forgiving my confessed transgression
For me to cease from religious frustration, secured with Your redemption.
Lord God, You are my petition Granter,
advising me through Your wisdom
Thank You that You deal with me with Your truth’s freedom
As You correct me of my disobedience due to vain boredom
For me to walk along Your righteousness, advancing Your kingdom.
Lord God, You are my petition Granter,
admonishing me with Your Word
Thank You that You enlighten me from dimness-discord
As You teach me through Your Scripture-record
For me to perform Your will in Your accord.
Lord God, You are my petition Granter,
alerting me against iniquity
Thank You that You purge me from my sins’ impurity
As You cleanse me by Your sanctification-certainty
For me to glow in virtuous sincerity.
Lord God, You are my petition Granter,
accompanying me in righteousness-battle
Thank You that You fetch me from earthly vanity shuttle
As You direct me to Your covenant and there I serenely settle
For me to fight and win by Your strengthening mettle.
Lord God, You are my petition Granter,
awakening me from fatal backsliding
Thank You that You deliver me from grievous pretending
As You help me with Your encouragement upholding
For me to dwell in Your glory by Your bestowed divine understanding.
