LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY PEACE FIGHTER Lord God, You are my peace Fighter with Your loving commitment Thank You for shutting me out from wilderness’ entanglement Surely softening my hardened heart with Your caring engagement So I can pursue after Your offered fulfillment. Lord God, You are my peace Fighter with Your kind dealing Thank You for stabilizing me to stand along Your salvation-sealing Surely protecting me for my victorious fueling So I can follow You with obedience against carnal defiling. Lord God, You are my peace Fighter with Your stretched-out hand Thank You for seeking me midst troubling earthly band Surely leading me to Your pillar of truth where I should stand So I can remain in Your works’ quality brand. Lord God, You are my peace Fighter with Your triumphant gloriousness Thank You for satisfying me with Your bountiful graciousness Surely guiding me to Your sanctuary of inheritance-greatness So I can abide in Your reigning goodness. Lord God, You are my peace Fighter with Your omnipotent might Thank You for shining for me Your cheering light so bright Surely pardoning me of my confessed iniquities’ blight So I can be freed from guilt, praising You midst contentment-delight. Lord God, You are my peace Fighter with Your complete reign Thank You for shaping me up by Your re-creating terrain Surely rebuking me of my bad attitude strain So I can prioritize Your holiness for good report’s gain. Lord God, You are my peace Fighter with Your upholding compassion Thank You for showing me Your commendation for my dedication Surely disciplining my stubbornness by Your correction So I can persist in Your will’s center of perfection.
