Lord God, You Are My Loving Judge
February 23 Relationship to God Bible Meditations
Based on Deuteronomy 25-28
Key Verse – Deuteronomy 25:1 f there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY LOVING JUDGE
Lord God, You are my loving Judge with Your righteousness
Thank You for making me blest with Your salvation-graciousness
To save me from sin’s wages along hell’s terribleness
And let me tread upon holiness along Your goodness.
Lord God, You are my loving Judge with Your redemption-certainty
Thank You for moving me to stand against transgressions’ penalty
To build me upon Your kingdom’s security
And strengthen me to fulfill ministerial duty.
Lord God, You are my loving Judge with Your given inheritance
Thank You for minding me by Your compassionate assistance
To enable me to worship You with forgiveness-assurance
And cause me to rejoice in Your kind perseverance.
Lord God, You are my loving Judge with Your sovereign commandment
Thank You for motivating me to hearken to Your voice of endearment
To nurture me as Your child midst truth’s settlement
And lead me toward good works’ embarkment.
Lord God, You are my loving Judge with Your promised blessing
Thank You for meeting me upon Your altar of praising
To accept me of my offerings with sincere sacrificing
And charge me to stay in Your will against grievous forcing.
Lord God, You are my loving Judge with Your power for transformation
Thank You for molding me toward functional conversion
To protect me from fleshly materialistic consumption
And guard me against pursuing idleness-destruction.
Lord God, You are my loving Judge with Your pride-smiting might
Thank You for melting me of my arrogantly selfish blight
To bring me to Your submissiveness’ delight
And illumine me by Your Word’s glorious light.
