LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY KING OF KINGS

December 28 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Revelation 17-18 Key Verse– Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY KING OF KINGS Lord God, You are my King of kings Who rules by Your truthfulness Thank You for Your lovingkindness of great faithfulness Forgive me for my worldliness with my confessed waywardness… I need Your pardon’s fullness. Lord God, You are my King of kings Who reveals Your mystery Thank You for Your marvelous Gospel story Forgive me for my pride causing perdition’s misery… I need Your wisdom toward humble victory. Lord God, You are my King of kings Who reigns by Your power Thank You for Your compassion showing Your mercy’s tower Forgive me for my carnality of fleshly flower… I need Your direction against vanity-sower. Lord God, You are my King of kings Who radiates by Your light Thank You for Your Word of immutable inspiring might Forgive me for my compromises along hypocrisy’s height… I need Your strength for my faith-flight in prayer-plight. Lord God, You are my King of kings Who redeems by Your salvation Thank You for Your offered gift along omnipotent regeneration Forgive me for my unbelief, hiding me as Your new creation… I need Your help to work for my transformation. Lord God, You are my King of kings Who revives by Your enablement Thank You for Your goodness that upholds me toward my betterment Forgive me for my shallow and skin-deep commitment… I need Your mercy to sustain me in my ministry-involvement. Lord God, You are my King of kings Who rejuvenates by Your leadership Thank You for Your partnership around my discipleship Forgive me for my slothfulness in stewardship… I need Your presence for my joyous worship.
