Lord God, You are my journey Director toward Your holiness-hill Thank You for holding my hands so Your assigned tasks I can fulfill Please forgive me for complaining because of my stubborn will… Help me overcome carnality’s pull while on Your altar I keep still. Lord God, You are my journey Director toward Your laws I must follow Thank You for delivering my soul from travails that overflow Please forgive me for manifesting my trust so shallow… Help me rejoice in You midst Your goodness-glow. Lord God, You are my journey Director toward Your standards for sacrifices Thank You for teaching my mind with wisdom of prudent performances Please forgive me for compromising along earthly causes… Help me glorify You by Your grace in growing along biblical processes. Lord God, You are my journey Director toward Your peacefulness Thank You for ruling over my personality by Your loving kindness Please forgive me for hearkening to the voice of worldliness… Help me depend on You, departing from selfishness’ emptiness. Lord God, You are my journey Director toward Your kingdom advancement Thank You for sanctifying my heart for sincere Gospel-sharing-involvement Please forgive me for ignoring Your exhortation and encouragement… Help me commit to You my desire for revival of spiritual enrichment. Lovely. As I read these lines, I agree with you so much in my own talk with our Father. I wrote a personal poem to the Lord yesterday, that He forgive my carnality and some of the worldly philosophies I struggle with. We are in this world, struggling through our emotions and life.
