LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY HEAVEN’S GLORY
Lord God, You are my heaven’s Glory, surely shining with divine ray
Thank You for Your holy city where I’ll soon stay---
You be honoured along Your assuring Word of no delay
With praises for wiping every tear away on that rejoicing day.
Lord God, You are my heaven’s Glory, surely full of graciousness
Thank You for Your goodness that keeps me in Your love’s preciousness---
You be honoured along Your light of magnificent brightness
With praises for writing my name on Your book of redemption-peacefulness.
Lord God, You are my heaven’s Glory, surely faithful steadfastly
Thank You for Your fountain of life’s water You are giving freely---
You be honoured along Your forgiveness You grant completely
With praises for saving me from the lake of fire’s second death powerfully.
Lord God, You are my heaven’s Glory, surely full of graciousness
Thank You for Your goodness that keeps me in Your love’s preciousness---
You be honoured along Your light of magnificent brightness
With praises for writing my name on Your book of redemption-peacefulness.
Lord God, You are my heaven’s Glory, surely supreme in Your authority
Thank You for Your care around Your fellowship’s serenity---
You be honoured along Your righteousness of awesome beauty
With praises for leading me toward Your triumphant eternity.
Lord God, You are my heaven’s Glory, surely radiating Your Word’s instruction
Thank You for Your Scriptures of enlightening illumination---
You be honoured along Your provisions smiting dearth’s reaction
With praises for transforming me toward perfection.
Lord God, You are my heaven’s Glory, surely glowing with Your light
Thank You for Your brightness subduing gloom of guilt’s blight---
You be honoured along Your fellowship’s delight
With praises for shielding me against arrogance-height.
