Key Verse – Psalm 111:1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY HEART’S PRAISE
Lord God, You are my heart’s Praise,
fixing me virtuously to be upright
Thank You for enabling me to stand fast along Your commandments’ height
So I can please You by Your honourable and glorious light
While showing Your power and might.
Lord God, You are my heart’s Praise,
forgiving me of confessed sins by Your mercy
Thank You for extending to me always Your kindness and clemency
So I can offer my sacrifice unto You with grateful constancy
While coming unto Your altar with prayer-fervency.
Lord God, You are my heart’s Praise,
fueling me to testify about Your compassion
Thank You for empowering me to endure in Your righteous function
So I can work for You with Your granted wisdom’s discretion
While trusting Your established truth-foundation.
Lord God, You are my heart’s Praise,
favouring me by Your grace to worship in Your sanctuary
Thank You for expounding to me Your care marked with victory
So I can flee from unbelief and doubt-caused misery
While sharing Your Gospel story.
Lord God, You are my heart’s Praise,
fortifying me to serve You upon Your blessedness
Thank You for exposing me to Your miracles’ fruitfulness
So I can continue in Your faithfulness
While dwelling in Your holiness.
Lord God, You are my heart’s Praise,
freeing me from pride to love You devotedly
Thank You for extricating me from selfishness wondrously
So I can render my best to You willingly
While paying to You my vows humbly.
Lord God, You are my heart’s Praise,
framing me well to be anchored by Your Word
Thank You for explaining to me the need to use the Spirit’s sword
So I can walk with You in joyful accord
While delighting myself in Your provisions’ ford.
