LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GRACIOUS JUDGE
Lord God, You are my gracious Judge of mercy despite my sinfulness
Thank You for pardoning my confessed rebelliousness…
I admit my unprofitability and fruitlessness
Please help me by Your strength’s mightiness.
Lord God, You are my gracious Judge of goodness despite my iniquity
Thank You for forgiving my expressed unbelief-caused anxiety…
I admit my doubt and uncertainty
Please answer me by Your truth’s authority.
Lord God, You are my gracious Judge of holiness despite my transgression
Thank You for correcting my error midst perversion…
I admit my weakness and confusion
Please uphold me by Your pity’s compassion.
Lord God, You are my gracious Judge of peace despite my worldly entanglement
Thank You for rebuking my lack of commitment…
I admit my blindness and vision-ailment
Please heal me by Your teaching’s enlightenment.
Lord God, You are my gracious Judge of hope despite my failure
Thank You for checking my motives against kindness’ gesture…
I admit my negligence and indolence toward heavenly venture
Please guard me by Your counsel from carnality’s pleasure.
Lord God, You are my gracious Judge of righteousness despite my backsliding
Thank You for reproving my heart from hiding…
I admit my treachery and foolishness with deceit’s loading
Please protect me by Your testimony’s shielding.
Lord God, You are my gracious Judge of faithfulness despite my hypocrisy
Thank You for guiding my steps along Your Scriptures’ policy…
I admit my ignorance and inconsistency
Please strengthen me by Your love’s persistency.
