Lord God, You Are My Good Enjoyment Source

June 30 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Ecclesiastes 1-3 Key Verse – Ecclesiastes 2:24 There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God. LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GOOD ENJOYMENT SOURCE Lord God, You are my good enjoyment Source, overruling me of my vanity Thank You for Your eternal profits’ certainty How fortunate am I to abide in Your security With Your compassion’s continuity. Lord God, You are my good enjoyment Source, overhauling me of my dissatisfaction Thank You for Your sure wisdom’s direction How relieved am I to escape from folly’s vexation With Your healing for my grief and sorrows’ desperation. Lord God, You are my good enjoyment Source, overpowering me of my deceitful heart Thank You for Your joy toward great day-start How jubilant am I to vanquish gloom’s dart With Your gladness for my exuberant worshipper’s part. Lord God, You are my good enjoyment Source, overtaking me of my despair Thank You for Your assurance that comes along Your care How comforted am I in Your goodness-repair With Your promise midst travail-caused scare. Lord God, You are my good enjoyment Source, overseeing me of my time and season Thank You for Your purpose in line with Your sovereign reason How blessed am I to learn from Your grace-filled lesson With Your gift for me as Your saved person. Lord God, You are my good enjoyment Source, overlooking at of my weakness Thank You for Your redemption marked by compassion, mercy and forgiveness How grateful am I to bow down to Your preeminent gloriousness With Your cleansing for my confessed sinfulness. Lord God, You are my good enjoyment Source, overseeing me of my lack’s plight Thank You for Your prosperity that supplies against crises’ blight How privileged am I to stay in prayer delight With Your answers upholding my faith toward servant’s height.
