LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY FINAL DAYS’ FINISHER
Lord God, You are my final days’ Finisher with Your eternity’s key
that unlocks me from hell’s bottomless pit
Thank You for opening to me heaven so gloriously lit
So that I can come out from condemnation with Your salvation exit
Toward obeying Your commandments’ writ.
Lord God, You are my final days’ Finisher with Your eternity’s key
that unseals me from worldliness’ torment
Thank You for freeing me from carnal allurement
So that I can involve myself in Your ministry engagement
Toward holy achievement with Your loving fulfillment.
Lord God, You are my final days’ Finisher with Your eternity’s key
that unveils me from death’s gruesome pain
Thank You for revealing to me Your majestic kingship reign
So that I can behold Your resurrection of faith’s gain
Toward following You along servanthood-terrain.
Lord God, You are my final days’ Finisher with Your eternity’s key
that unlocks me from transgressions’ deceitfulness
Thank You for guiding me from iniquities’ slaying wickedness
So that I can join Your army of prayer warriors, fighting sinfulness
Toward triumphing over self-exaltation business.
Lord God, You are my final days’ Finisher with Your eternity’s key
that unplugs me from fire of vanity
Thank You for healing me of my carnality-caused infirmity
So that I can rest in Your power, repenting with sincerity
Toward worshipping You with humility.
Lord God, You are my final days’ Finisher with Your eternity’s key
that uncovers me from clouds of doubt
Thank You for setting me upon Your pillars of grace in my righteousness-bout
So that I can testify about Your goodness with praise-shout
Toward standing for Your truth along my steward route.
Lord God, You are my final days’ Finisher with Your eternity’s key
that unloosens me from grip of evil mystery
Thank You for asserting to me Your clear victory
So that I can vanquish ignorance and folly’s misery
Toward sharing Your triumphant Gospel story.
