LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY FATHER
Lord God, You are my Father as well as my governing authority
Thank You for redeeming me with Your adoption-guaranty
Let me be Your heir who shows my earnest sincerity
Always submitting to Your leadership in meekness and humility.
Lord God, You are my Father as well as my source of goodness-bestowment
Thank You for granting me Your blessed contentment
Let me be Your child who appreciates Your gracious treatment
Always delighting in Your Word of promises’ fulfillment.
Lord God, You are my Father as well as my spiritual freedom’s might
Thank You for extricating me from sin-bondage blight
Let me be Your believer who rejoices in Your radiant light
Always acknowledging Your principles so right.
Lord God, You are my Father as well as my divine liberty’s victory
Thank You for exposing to me Your righteousness-glory
Let me be Your worker who labours inspired by Your sacrifice at Calvary
Always hearing Your commendation against worry that brings misery.
Lord God, You are my Father as well as my loving guide
Thank You for directing me toward Your kingdom-ride
Let me be Your follower who cleaves to You against worldliness’ tide
Always exalting Your name in my reaching-out stride.
Lord God, You are my Father as well as my teacher with Your instruction
Thank You for instilling in me Your truth’s function
Let me be Your student who learns by Your revelation
Always accepting Your counsel midst heavenly illumination.
Lord God, You are my Father as well as my constant provider
Thank You for constraining me to pray since You’re my faith’s upholder
Let me be Your steward who shares Your Gospel with You as my sender
Always seeking for Your favour knowing that You’re my heart’s beholder.
