LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY FAITH'S AUTHOR AND FINISHER

December 10 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Hebrews 12-13 Key Verse– Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY FAITH’S AUTHOR AND FINISHER Lord God, You are my faith’s Author and Finisher toward perfection’s certainty Thank You that Your are my Redeemer from sin-penalty Likewise my Pardoner when I confess that I’m guilty… Yours is my gratitude for dealing with me along Your compassion-bounty. Lord God, You are my faith’s Author and Finisher toward righteousness’ manifestation Thank You that Your are my Holiness against iniquity-caused temptation Likewise my Director by Your Scriptures’ instruction… Yours is my praise for granting me great peace and satisfaction. Lord God, You are my faith’s Author and Finisher toward diligent endurance Thank You that Your are my Strength in exercising perseverance Likewise my prayer-Listener, communing with me with Your assistance… Yours is my submission along my humility and repentance. Lord God, You are my faith’s Author and Finisher toward profitable stewardship Thank You that Your are my Guide with Your offered partnership Likewise my Friend around jubilant fellowship… Yours is my trust as I follow You for Your loving leadership. Lord God, You are my faith’s Author and Finisher toward heavenly pasture Thank You that Your are my Way against worldliness-culture Likewise my bondage Breaker from carnality’s torture… Yours is my dependence since I rely on Your merciful gesture. Lord God, You are my faith’s Author and Finisher toward devotion’s commitment Thank You that Your are my Power in my service-establishment Likewise my Sanctifier against iniquities’ defilement… Yours is my obedience while I abide in Your wisdom-endowment. Lord God, You are my faith’s Author and Finisher toward good woks’ fullness Thank You that Your are my Teacher with Your Shepherd’s kindness Likewise my Rewarder along Your graciousness… Yours is my exaltation as I honour You for Your greatness.
