Lord God, You Are My Faith Increaser
October 16 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Acts 6-7
Key Verse – Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY FAITH INCREASER
Lord God, You are my faith Increaser toward my service-freedom
Thank You for filling me with Your might and wisdom
That I may please You in my obedience, prioritizing Your kingdom---
Help me give myself continually to prayer against attacking boredom.
Lord God, You are my faith Increaser toward my Bible-practice
Thank You for enabling me to resist disputations of lawless notice
That I may look steadfastly on Your deliverance treatise---
Help me set myself to exercise, by Your grace, holiness expertise.
Lord God, You are my faith Increaser toward my stewardship-function
Thank You for granting me inheritance of divine possession
That I may move along Your guidance despite bondage of affliction---
Help me bring myself to sojourn in Your covenant’s provision.
Lord God, You are my faith Increaser toward my trust-sustenance
Thank You for drawing me night to Your nourishing assistance
That I may flee from pulls of defiance to Your mount of deliverance---
Help me yield myself to Your protective guidance.
Lord God, You are my faith Increaser toward my standard-raising
Thank You for satisfying me with Your abounding blessing
That I may face Your throne midst prayerful revival-filled praising---
Help me offer myself as my sacrifice with rejoicing.
Lord God, You are my faith Increaser toward my noble desires’ favour
Thank You for building me through Your perfecting fervour
That I may endure persecution by Your compassion-flavour---
Help me rest myself in Your care upon Your mercy I savour.
Lord God, You are my faith Increaser toward my earnest law-fulfillment
Thank You for sufficing me well with Your peace and contentment
That I may kneel down and strive to pursue my commitment---
Help me open myself to Your nurturing voice of endearment.
