LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY DIVINE AFFECTION'S SETTER
Lord God, You are my divine affection's Setter
through Your seeking hand
Thank You for bracing me upon holiness-stand
That I may subject my flesh under Your righteous demand…
Let me always follow Your command toward promised land.
Lord God, You are my divine affection's Setter
through Your heavenly communication
Thank You for sanctifying me against filthiness and corruption
That I may put off my carnality to put on Your virtue as new creation…
Let me always dwell in Your peace and wisdom’s admonition.
Lord God, You are my divine affection's Setter
through Your immutable Word
Thank You for loving me with Your compassion-cord
That I may offer my all to You by Your grace I can’t afford…
Let me always stay in Your will, guarded by Your Spirit’s sword.
Lord God, You are my divine affection's Setter
through Your tender mercy
Thank You for checking me against inconsistency
That I may increase my faith by Your power’s fervency…
Let me always call in Your name with prayerful intimacy.
Lord God, You are my divine affection's Setter
through Your guiding light
Thank You for revealing to me Your Word midst mystery’s insight
That I may entrust my mind to Your illumining wisdom so right…
Let me always learn from Your truth to vanquish unbelief-blight.
Lord God, You are my divine affection's Setter
through Your gracious faithfulness
Thank You for guarding me within Your plan’s purposiveness
That I may devote my life for Your honour and gloriousness…
Let me always depend on Your goodness that fills my worthlessness.
Lord God, You are my divine affection's Setter
through Your directing engagement
Thank You for leading me toward ministry involvement
That I may allow my devotion to advance by Your fulfillment…
Let me always seek for Your favour to be victorious in my commitment.
