LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY DISTRESS' PACIFIER
Lord God, You are my distress’ Pacifier, hearing me in my cry
Thank You for guarding me against arrows that try
Indeed delivering my soul from deceitful tongue’s pry---
Let me always dwell in Your grace so I won’t become spiritually dry.
Lord God, You are my distress’ Pacifier, lifting me up in my downfall
Thank You for preserving me against arrogance-fall
Indeed keeping my diligence from indolence-slumber’s call---
Let me always come to Your throne’s divine hall.
Lord God, You are my distress’ Pacifier, building me up in my gladness
Thank You for prospering me in Your goodness
Indeed refining my testimony through Your holiness---
Let me always seek Your virtues and righteousness.
Lord God, You are my distress’ Pacifier, beholding me in my affliction
Thank You for kindling me to discern midst divine perception
Indeed filling my heart with Your consolation---
Let me always escape from worldly destruction.
Lord God, You are my distress’ Pacifier, hearing me in my trust-commitment
Thank You for strengthening me by Your upright fulfillment
Indeed mounting my faith around Your compassion-settlement---
Let me always follow Your leadership of heavenly accomplishment.
Lord God, You are my distress’ Pacifier, guiding me in my dream-aspiring
Thank You for making me sow in tears by Your stirring
Indeed encouraging my spirit with Your great inspiring---
Let me always bear Your precious seed with Your everlasting rearing.
Lord God, You are my distress’ Pacifier, correcting me in my vanity
Thank You for soothing me midst my insecurity
Indeed raising my service toward Your heritage-stability---
Let me always rejoice in Your power so mighty.
