Lord God, You Are My Devouring Fire

February 3 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 10-12 Key Verse– Leviticus 10:2 And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them…
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY DEVOURING FIRE Lord God, You are my devouring Fire for my sanctification Thank You for calling me as Your child from hell’s condemnation To bear Your name with sincere devotion While I bewail my sins, repenting toward genuine transformation. Lord God, You are my devouring Fire for my strengthening Thank You for purging me as Your adopted against sin-staining To learn from what You teach for my character-refining While I remain in Your will, ready for Your divine pruning. Lord God, You are my devouring Fire for my sacrifices’ acceptability Thank You for beautifying me as Your daughter by Your love’s sovereignty To seek You diligently with my humility While I hear Your voice and dwell in Your contentment’s purity. Lord God, You are my devouring Fire for my spiritual fulfillment Thank You for sanctifying me as Your saint by Your blood’s empowerment To strive to obey with righteousness Your commandment While I stay in Your fountain of blessings every moment. Lord God, You are my devouring Fire for my sowing’s productiveness Thank You for clothing me as Your born-again heir with godliness To overcome by Your might defiling thoughts and filthiness While I choose virtues against corruption-wickedness. Lord God, You are my devouring Fire for my service-substance Thank You for separating me as Your disciple from falsehood stance To increase in faith, valuing my heavenly inheritance While I rejoice in You, never following You from a distance. Lord God, You are my devouring Fire for my stewardship’s victory Thank You for upholding me as Your prayer-warrior in Your ministry To offer to You my best for Your honour and glory While I reach-out to others, sharing Your Gospel story.
