Lord God, You Are My Commander

Key Verse – Numbers 1:19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY COMMANDER
Lord God, You are my Commander
Who moves me spiritually upward
Thank for letting me keep on marching forward
By Your grace, enabling me --- Your steward
So I can bravely surmount challenges, never retreating backward.
Lord God, You are my Commander
Who molds me with Your hand of perfection
Thank for calling me to belong to Your family’s possession
By Your mercy, upholding me --- Your child of divine adoption
So I can joyfully live in Your will, assured by Your protection.
Lord God, You are my Commander
Who ministers to me through Your tabernacle
Thank for pitching my standard upon Your oracle
By Your love, enclosing me --- Your saint to experience Your miracle
So I can peacefully stay in Your set purpose-pinnacle.
Lord God, You are my Commander
Who meets me in Your mount of worship
Thank for consecrating me in Your office for stewardship
By Your kindness, preserving me --- Your servant in Your fellowship
So I can willingly come nigh to You by virtue of Your friendship.
Lord God, You are my Commander
Who maximizes me of Your granted gifts in Your custody
Thank for bracing me up by Your truth-pillars so I can be biblically ready
By Your wisdom, enlightening me --- Your student against deceit’s malady
So I can surely share Your Word, reliably sturdy.
Lord God, You are my Commander
Who melts me of my guiltiness midst Your holiness
Thank for welcoming me through Your imputed righteousness
By Your justification, covering me --- Your ransomed with Your goodness
So I can devotedly serve You with my gratefulness.
Lord God, You are my Commander
Who mentors to me by Your guiding light
Thank for teaching me to work through Your ministerial might
By Your instruction, ordering me --- Your chosen to obey You with delight
So I can wholeheartedly finish my course toward rewarding celestial flight.
