Lord God, You Are My Calling's Anointer

Key Verse –2Kings 9:3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY CALLING’S ANOINTER
Lord God, You are my calling’s Anointer through Your oil of ministering might
Thank You for making me Your servant of stewardship delight
In Your house of worship where I praise and meet You midst prayer-plight
Along Your pardon for every confessed sin-blight.
Lord God, You are my calling’s Anointer through Your proclaiming hand
Thank You for making me as Your messenger upon truth-stand
In Your direction where Your wisdom guides toward promised land
Along Your peace always victoriously grand.
Lord God, You are my calling’s Anointer through Your driving authority
Thank You for making me Your watchman upheld by Your certainty
In Your field where I should sow Gospel seed of eternal life’s surety
Along Your Word of promise of everlasting security.
Lord God, You are my calling’s Anointer through Your instructing assignment
Thank You for making me Your soldier who obeys Your commandment
In Your kingdom where I find peaceful commitment
Along Your faithfulness’ gracious agreement.
Lord God, You are my calling’s Anointer through Your illumining vision
Thank You for making me Your law-follower showing submission
In Your mission pursuits where I participate in Your great commission
Along Your supply of abundant provision.
Lord God, You are my calling’s Anointer through nourishing mercy
Thank You for making me Your covenant-fulfiller midst faith-fervency
In Your will of perfection where I abide against temptation’s persistency
Along Your protection guarding me against inconsistency.
Lord God, You are my calling’s Anointer through Your ruling guidance
Thank You for making me Your partner to labour by Your sustenance
In Your workplace where heavenly treasures are in abundance
Along Your goodness that reigns for revival endurance.
