Lord God, You Are My Accomplishment Zeal
August 5 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Ezekiel 5-8
Key Verse – Ezekiel 5:13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken [it] in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY ACCOMPLISHMENT ZEAL
Lord God, You are my accomplishment Zeal
along Your weighing scale
Thank You for setting my soul in Your love that does not fail
As You change me to walk toward Your statutes’ trail
Away from abominations, tempting to make me wail.
Lord God, You are my accomplishment Zeal
along Your watching pity
Thank You for consuming my pride, showing arrogant intensity
As You free against loftiness to practice sincere humility
Away from destructions of being haughty.
Lord God, You are my accomplishment Zeal
along Your winning prayer altar
Thank You for protecting my faith against evil’s mortar
As You besiege we within Your guarding of truth-Gibraltar
Away from desolation of deceiving worldly star.
Lord God, You are my accomplishment Zeal
along Your warning Word
Thank You for guiding my ways through Your Scriptural record
As You strengthen me to serve well, tied to Your grace-cord
Away from wrath of devouring false teachings’ sword.
Lord God, You are my accomplishment Zeal
along Your waking alarm-movement
Thank You for sanctifying my heart against sin-pollution’s defilement
As You bring me to Your forgiveness’ peace of contentment
Away from counsels that trouble my commitment.
Lord God, You are my accomplishment Zeal
along Your working mighty hand
Thank You for lifting up my spirit toward Your visions, heavenly grand
As You lead me to Your sanctuary where I can biblically stand
Away from wickedness with its selfish and greedy demand.
Lord God, You are my accomplishment Zeal
along Your whispering voice of compassion
Thank You for seeking my heart and its chambers to check my passion
As You move me to worship You midst fulfillment of Your great commission
Away from provocations of fleshly and carnal mission.
