Lord, dear Lord

Lord, dear Lord, how I love you so, may you be my truth, all I know. Let me seek your voice, all day long, knowing in you, I do belong. Lord, dear Lord, let me fear nothing, not distant past, nor coming spring. May I lean on you, God so strong, knowing in you, I do belong. Lord, dear Lord, make me so humble, let not doubting, make me stumble. But may I rise to you in song, knowing in you, I do belong. Lord, dear Lord, please grant me true peace where evil fails, temptations cease. May I be there, in your great throng, knowing in you, I do belong. 03.01.2024

Aww thanks Sara. - I think it's wonderful how many do find ways to share their faith through poetry. - your poems often capture that spiritual deep love and discipleship we all should strive and long for. Blessings, C
