Loose Hearts

Loose hearts,
Linger,separate,
Tear apart.
Loose hearts,
Shrink.wilt,
Twig of life sours tart.
Loose hearts,
crumble,shudder
viscous words shoot in blacken darts.
Loose hearts,
tighten,strengthen,
venture towards a mended start.
Loose hearts,
weep, tangle, unite.
Love sprinkled over happy a la carte.

Very interesting analysis of all the capabilities and potentials of "loose hearts." Like the upbeat tone in the last line. The way the hearts "venture toward a mended start" and "unite" provide hope that is often missing in love poems. Very nice work! Love, Carolyn
