Loose Friends

Your friend is tall and cool, but has gone empty in your hand.
The relationship was so short, you ask how much for another.
Sitting alone in this fog; hoping this glass will last longer.

Jessica, I am not familiar with the sijo form, but love the evocativeness of your poem. I read it several times. Wonderful. Krista

Jessica, this is a first rate sijo. I really like the turn of the last line, and the use of end-rhyme in lines 2 and 3. I have found sijo a difficult form so I'm impressed. Thanks, Jim
