Lookingout

I'm looking out another window
Behind another set of eyes
The sun still shines in
The thoughts still tangled in a web
Everything hangs in a balance
Teetering on loneliness
There is no easy way out
The youthful irresponsibility
Laughing away in a mad past
The joys and frustration
The pain and the pleasure
No more is this life wrapped up
In a pretty red bow
Somehow it will all be forgotten
Like my favorite path
I walked when I was so sure of everything
A time ago upon the wind.........
