Looking to find
Walking down the road
This time pulling my load
Moving around
Nowhere am I bound
It is all the same, I have found
Gathered some toys
You know how it is with us boys
If outside
Is where I must abide
Then I will do it right
Be warm at night
A new stove new tent
A bit of money I have. Spent
Can not carry stuff no more
Can not lift it off the floor
Got a wagon to pull as I walk
With just my dog to talk
I pull her along
Listening to nature sing its song
People pass me by
To get a ride I do not even try
Just going till I find a nice spot
To cook some food nice and hot
Pitch a tent and pull out my cot
Never know how long I might stay
Tomorrow is the same as today
Nowhere I care to be
So many things to see
Keeping my chello dry
When the sky
Decides to cry
Have all I need
Since life planted this seed
Solitude
Just looking for different latitude
The never ending search for what lies down the next road
Easier now that I am pulling my load
I wonder what I look for
Not to be behind any locked door
I wish to soar
I wish to find
Peace of mind
The sound
Of no one around
Just a place to write
I am the light
I have no wish to fight
Just to be free
So much beauty to see
Wish to see it all
Can not do that behind a wall
Where can I go
That people won't show
So I will keep walking
Peace I am stalking
How far I have gone
The search is on
For I seek
Something of which I once had a peek.
The land of no sorrow
Which I will find some coming tomorrow
So I keep going
even knowing
I walk alone
Life has shown
Love I have blown
There is nowhere for me
Not that I see
But hope does remain
I think I am insane
Because I keep on trying
Sometimes lost and crying
My faith is never dying
Leads my way
Through each day
Following the light
This seems right
Which road leads back to me
That's where I need to be
Looking to find
This peace of mind
So hard to find
But it's is there
Helps you to always care
Keeps you going
Cause your knowing
Your faith is showing
This light will lead the way
Through the darkest of day
Through this life so lonely
Nothing I want but only
My way home
Before I can no longer roam
So much to see along my way
Making it through another day
After all that this life has shown
My love has grown
Hope has not died
Life has tried
To darken my way
Faith makes hope stay
Keeping me going towards this unknown tomorrow
I made it past the sorrow
Every breath I take
The decision I make
To make it another day
As I make my way
Down this road
Pulling my load
