Looking through an old photo album
At my image captured in the light.
Is there any proof that this image is truly you?
Might I not have been simply the scarecrow
Guarding that barley field,
Taxidermied in the countless moments of the past?
What do we live for?
The me of now?
The me of the past?
The me of the future?
When snow falls, I welcome the snow.
When rain falls, I greet the rain.
If even this moment were to be taxidermied within a photograph,
We are breathing not in the past, nor in the future,
Nor even in the present, but in something beyond them all.
In your past appearance, in this very moment,
And in your future, I see you.
You dream a dream.
That dream is not a memory of the past,
But our alternative life across spacetime,
Reborn anew into the present.
We are bound as one
Through past, present, and future.
Time cannot judge time,
Nor can the ages name the ages.
Revelation 22:13
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,
The First and the Last,
The Beginning and the End.”
Just as His word declares,
"You are my another birth,
And I am your another blessing."
Right at this moment, "You and I"—
Could this very thing not be
The Beginning and the End
Confessed by the Lord Himself?
