Progressive politicians will tell you,
To get votes throw each dog a bone.
Some are the size of a SNAP card,
While others are the size of a phone;
But they know one thing for sure,
The feeding hand a dog won’t bite.
So they keep pledging the handouts,
Slinging mud with all of their might;
But taking free stuff creates puppets,
To dance on whatever string they pull.
For retaining their office assures them,
That their pockets will always be full;
