Looking On the Bright Side
A day in our life’s considered
bleak or bright what’s our outlook?
this mental frame needs a rethink
taking a leaf out of positive book
Filling our minds with brightness
looking and hoping to overcome
fill yourself with spirit of faith
for only you can beat your drum
Never fall to the pessimistic hook
make sure you escape it’s hold
follow on and enjoy the day
don’t allow it to form it’s mould
The day is to be appreciated
life’s fill of enjoyment
not to be looking cast down
consider it opportune appointment
