Looking Hinder At 2021

New Years Day 2022
Has your light shown brightly as God intended,
does your candle flicker or life been amended?
Whose life did you impact during this past year,
someone unknown or perhaps one you hold dear?
Has your witness been strong as earthly days waned,
Did you glorified Jesus or have you feigned?
Have you proclaimed God’s word as He has bidden,
or in your own heart have you kept it hidden?
Did you use your potential or did you try,
Or go your own way letting last year slip by?
In prayer for others, have you felt as one,
there's a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun.
