Looking Down Into the Valley
Looking down into the valley,
I close my eyes and dream.
I dream about a different world
For things are not as good as they may seem.
I dream about a world
Where there’s peace and harmony,
A world with much less violence
And much less conflict for all to see.
I dream about a world
Where all can make ends meet,
A world with much less hunger
And one where starvation we defeat.
I dream about a world
Where there’s love for me and you,
A world where people care
And are helpful to others, too.
Looking down into the valley,
I dream about a better day,
A day that brings us joy
And happiness in every way.
