Looking Back

"Looking Back"

I wish I could live without doubt
live without regrets
There were plenty of things that seemed so far but yet so near
So opaque...when will the darkness clear?
Felt I couldn't accomplish them, living in fear
Wondering if my dreams would ever become my reality
wishing I could do away with this type of mentality
They'd say "go forth"
seems I've lost my direction, I'd try north
Feeling hellbent, but mama always told me I was Heaven sent
and papa showed me what love really meant
So I'll keep pushing
Pushing
Because if it's really meant,
I'll enjoy my days even within the madness
