Looking At the Past Gaining In the Future
The Past can cast a shadow on your life
At times you feel it stabs you like a knife
The weather in our lives will always change!
The seasons bring the shift we need
So that we can feed off any abnormality
Therefore, with confidence
We can look at the past and gain in the future!
Nothing can go to waste
As a human we must taste
A reflection of every emotion!
The potential engraved in our hearts will reflect the time
Yet no corrupted past can rob us of our prime
We can look at our past and gain in the future!
Our past can motivate us to be better
So let it activate our determination
Seeing the bigger picture will allow
Us to put up with little irritations so
We should set the end before the beginning
And remember that our future can improve!
