Lookin' Back

I sit on my front porch swing, reveal the world my greatest pain. Watch my life flash before my eyes. My innocence always surrounds me, my surrender flows inside me. Each one in constant touch with my heart. I see our picture on the wall, as I walk slowely down the hall. Wishing back to a life before time. I sit down on the edge of my bed, lay my hands upon my head. As my mind traces through the lies. I stare up at the ceiling, the color she wanted has started peeling. It reminds me of the life that fell apart. I stare out to watch the moon at night, my memory drifts on a wingless flight. With my dreams committing the unforgivable crime.
