Look In My Mind
Take a trip into the mind of a poet but loner
Thinker, avid drinker local known stoner
Next to green like Mario, maybe shrooms will get me bigger
Will they see as a man instead of a nigga
When I say 'nigga' I don't mean ones who hung on trees
I mean the ones that I hang with that blow on trees
It's funny how times changed but really its all the same
Prison and slavery just really the same name
Welcome to my world, where love is quiet and money talks
The smart gets locked up and the dummies walk
Kids get shot down on a daily basis
Don't know our life, just judge us off the skin on our faces
No eye witnesses due to drop cases, who'll save us?
What we see shock us like Raiden
What do I say to my nigga whose crib just been raided
Young tygas getting faded but Ima future Lion in the making
Where's my faith in GOD? I'm losing faith in myself
Don't like what's in the mirror, guess I'm hating myself
How can I love you when I'm not loving myself
Never followed the law, I govern myself
You're one in a million like that angel Aaliyah
This relationship was a test, I got caught being a cheater
This world's driving me insane and it's affecting my heart
It was us against the world, now were tearing apart
