Look Deep

Have you ever looked deep in a mirror
Like you're waiting for it to be clearer
This crystal that captures our soul
As steam leaves the glass in the cold...
Right after youre out of the shower
And wrapped in your favorite towel
Your palms bearing weight on the sink
To calm your reflection and think....
So if you see sweat on your hands
In the image that you so command
You're taking the time to reflect
On what you should find to inspect.....
And even tho its just a glance
Believe it so its more than chance
That destiny gives us a voice
Thats left to re-live in a choice...
Not one but from many combined
The sum of the "any "confined
Entangled in those past events
We dangled before common sense...
