Look Before You Leap

He claims to be better and different than all those who came before him. Yet, if he is different, he is likely to become like all the rest when he arrives. Beware of those who align themselves with entities and ties at home and abroad, known by the elete and powerful but unknown by you and me. If he is more concerned about being a citizen of the world than one in his own district, be aware that he's not planning to work for or represent you. He is much too intelligent to be named Pinocchio or Benedict Arnold, but do beware of the politician who lies, and lies, and lies, and lies again. He knows he is lying and he knows that you know that he is lying, but awareness of his deception does not stop him, because he and you know all too well that you 'can't handle the truth'. If he's dishonest, it matters not if he's from a blue or red state. He spends everybody's money and a little of his own, and when he is elected and occupies his office, he spends our money as fast as it can be printed. Occasionaly, there are some who spends millions of their own. Once in a great while there may be a patriot or statesman among them, and you can usually spot them by the way they regard the Constitution, principles, and policies upon which our country is founded. If you and I are truely sincere about supporting a politician who is true and trustworthy, we will pay attention to what he has done in the past and not what he promises to do in the future and most assuredly what he has done for us 'lately'. Never mind the tone of his voice, the look of compassion and passion upon his face, because if he is a master of deception, you'll not be able to detect the cleverness by which he operates.
