Look at you

You do not care about anything other than what you want,
since you can’t get it,
you crave it as a need, costing you your way.
Don’t sleep on it; do it.
Don’t just try it, perfect it and make it yours.
Don’t even think about entering the room;
it’s a trap! A snare you can’t escape like that.
And what do you do? The opposite.
Weakness brought in fear,
fear encourages limitations,
and look where it got you now—
drowning. Shade a tear for the last sip

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
