Look At Those Beautiful Lights
Look At Those Beautiful Lights
By Elton Camp
The family reunion has come to a close
Kin are important & we like seeing those
We were glad to a good size bunch came
Who, in some way, share the family name
Despite all the cooking & cleaning it does take
We never thought hosting it to be some mistake
But now the last ones are going down the drive
Yet another reunion we managed to survive
“Look at those beautiful lights,” my wife sighed
“City lights?” I asked. “Tail lights,” she replied
I have to admit that she is really correct, though
Nice to see them come, but better to see them go
