Look At Me Now

Take a look everyone
I have succeeded
Outside your predictions
No-one knew me
I overcame
And conquered
Doctors doubted
Teachers were racist
Family didn’t understand
No friends
Against all odds
Look at me now
I cry sometimes
Because now that I’ve achieved everything
It still doesn’t matter
There is nothing left
Only memories of their faces
Don’t leave me standing here
I can’t move on
I have nothing
I have succeeded
With an empty space
My stomach feels hard
I can’t breath
My dreams haven’t come true
They have only become worse
Look at me now
