Look At Me
Look at Me
He is just one of the many, a lonely man
Striving to become whatever he can
All I am is not what you choose to see
If you seek a friend then look at me
The old man sits on the corner all alone
A next meal from where it comes unknown
You look away, disgusted by what you see
All he asks, don’t just walk by, look at me
The drug addict lost within a world, forsaken
Coursing through his blood all the drugs taken
Don’t take pity on me, go, just leave me be
Who are you to judge me, don’t look at me
Remember, be grateful when your life is good
And try to help those as much as you should
Because life doesn’t come with any guarantee
You maybe the one that asks, just look at me
