Longing To Be Jessica Fletcher
LONGING TO BE JESSICA FLETCHER
Cosmoline cologne of this antique,
with wrinkles and white hair.
Her youth once perfumed in mystique.
Alabaster skin, smooth and beauty rare.
Still she is sweet as peaked meringue,
clinging to dusty and brand new books,
where she finds youth’s adventure and daring.
She’s the protagonist with sleuthing good looks.
