Longing for Spring

On a beautiful but cold Spring Day,
I shiver in anticipation as I soak in the
sunshine from the warmth of my house
as I gaze longlingly at the bright yellow
orb in the sky and look forward to the
warmth that Spring usually brings
I will plan trips to the Kentucky River
that my heart longs for and I will
look back on tender memories of
other Spring trips and look forward
to many more occasions of fun in the sun
