Longing for

I seek out, Longing for truth,
a truth so vast it spills over 
my vast landscape of jumbled thoughts
and fills in the empty rooms 
tightly packing and smothering
the dark impulses.

I long for freedom, 
to bare and witness my soul
bloom out of the struggles
faced daily.

I long for understanding,
so I may set free
the broken pieces 
and place them 
in harmony
a safe place.

I long for Happiness,
to smile with joy 
and not to keep a mask
but to lower it and be seen.

I long for love, 
true and strong
without fear and resentment
Without limits and bounds .

I long to be human.....
