Long Time No See

it's an invisible injury but light sure can hurt and for something so quiet noise sure can pulverize but it explains why you haven't seen or heard from me ***

I can envision the scariness of light and noise hurting; teeny tiny noises that bother no one else in the room have me ready to scream. I always say I have dog ears, and the children in a class are shocked when I say "That's personal, I would rather you keep it to yourself," after they have barely whispered.

Thank you Heidi! I just had my first Neurofeedback training session yesterday. After which I stepped out into rush hour with a bus pulling up in full screaming squeal and I just thought "wow, that's loud"- then it dawns on me what's weird, I'm not hitting the deck covering my ears as have been the last several years. (!!!) xomo <3

Well done! That describes exactly how I felt moving from Fort Apache Indian Reservation to Honolulu! Aloha! Rico
