Long Lost Twins

Before time for
us even started, I
remember basking in the
darkness seeking for
your
beloved hand to hold
me centered

Somehow, somewhere time
then parted us without
severing our
bond, in
fact your unseen
presence haunted my
days through the
years

And when we finally
met again your
voice
sang my soul's
tune in recognition, meanwhile I
rested comfortably in your
embrace

Since then I
need your
touch to grasp
reality and your
eyes to envision my
horizons.
